American Heroes
American Hero Sew Day have moved to the third Tuesday of the month, when we will meet at 10:00 a.m. at Quilting Mayhem in Snohomish (1011 2nd St., Snohomish) to sew quilts for injured American soldiers.
Quilting Mayhem generously supplies us with a fabulous room upstairs for sewing all day. They provide irons, ironing boards, cutting boards and the use of their kitchen (microwave and refrigerator included) for only $5 per person. There's also an elevator to make it easy to haul our machines and supplies up and down the stairs.
Bring your own pattern and fabric. We will have some fabric if you prefer to work on that. If you prefer not to bring your sewing machine, we also need people to sit and sew on bindings and labels or iron for others as they sew, etc.
You may pack a lunch, eat at a nearby restaurant, or have sandwiches/pizza delivered.
An added bonus will be 15% off of all fabric and notions at Quilting Mayhem on our sew days!
